Bioinformatics

It is an interdisciplinary field that develops methods and software tools for understanding biological data. Bioinformatics combines computer science, statistics, mathematics and engineering to analyze and interpret biological data. It is both an umbrella term for the body and biological studies that use computer programming as a part of their methodology. Example of this is that heart patients have device that monitor their heart and sends data to their local doctor. If something goes wrong doctors can quickly react and save human’s life.
